Investors who bet on Argentina despite the «default»
The conflict between Argentina and the so-called «vulture funds» which ended in controversy and default, has not closed Argentina’s access to international investment.
Many warned that this would be the inevitable consequence of default, was born within the framework of a legal confrontation before the American courts with the holders of the Argentine public debt who refuse to accept a renegotiation of the same under the conditions proposed by Buenos Aires.
But, despite forecasts, several funds have indicated that they will continue to invest in the country after the declaration of the default.
The most emphatic has been the director of the Hayman Capital Fund in the United States, Kyle Bass.
